Passion Planner Giveaway

My love of organization started very early in life. In elementary school, I would write up an entire day’s schedule–down to the minute–on blank sheets of paper..every day. If anything deviated from this well-planned-well-thought-out day, mass anxiety would kick in, and I’d feel like the day was utterly, abysmally destroyed. I like to think I have a much healthier perspective on unanticipated changes now…….The day is only a little bit ruined [jk..I’m only mildly dramatic]..

Anyways, my need for some semblance of structure has continued to this day, and I am always on the lookout for the perfect planner. I’ve tried many, many different ones over the years, but have never found one I loved enough to keep using year after year.

Timeless Black Planner

Timeless Black Planner

So! For 2016, I am trying out the relatively new Passion Planner. This unique planner has everything you’d typically find in one, but with added sections for goal-setting, reflection, and creative expression. “It is, essentially, an interactive self-help book” (source). Read this review for more details on what’s inside.

This week, you will have the chance to win one of these awesome planners! I went just a teensy bit crazy and “accidentally” ended up with three of them..which means there will be TWO winners for this giveaway. Yay! First prize will receive the StayGOALden Limited Edition, and the second winner will get the Timeless Black Planner. Enter by following these two simple steps:

  1. Follow this blog via email.
  2. Tell us one goal you have for this next year in the comments section below.

Other rules & information:

  • Open to U.S. residents only.
  • Limited to one entry per person.
  • Two winners will be chosen using a random number generator, and emailed after the contest ends. You will have 48 hours to respond to our email request for shipping addresses, after which you forfeit your prize.
  • This giveaway ends on Monday, December 7 at 6pm.

Good luck!

This giveaway has ended! Congratulations:

  1. Pretty planners! 1 goal I have for the new year is to learn about savings and really set a financial budget for our fambam of 2. Right now, we’re kind of just coasting and saving here and there by not buying boba this week or eating out less, but it’s nothing concrete. Hopefully, it’ll teach us to be good stewards of money and to be more proactive about giving to the church and those in need.

    • Great goal! Figuring out our budgets was pretty challenging in the beginning for us too [still is sometimes haha]. I love your attitude about saving to be able to give more to others.

  2. My mom will tell you, when I was little and plans would get changed, I’d freak. I think that’s one of the reasons I felt so comfortable and called to teaching-schedule, schedule, schedule. I LOVE schedules. I THRIVE off schedules and lists. Which is great when they go as planned. But even then, schedules don’t go as planned because that’s life! But I’d even have a plan B, C, D, etc. and sometimes those don’t go as planned either. Being a stay at home mom has challenged me so much to get off my schedule although we still stay on a pretty strict schedule every day. I can’t help it, lol. But my goal for 2016 is to try not to get anxious and upset when my schedule goes out the window. To just breathe and relax and to know it’s okay and it isn’t the end of the world!

    • We really are like the same person..Hahaha. I totally relate! After graduating college, where there’s no more set schedules, I felt my soul just shriveling up like a dried prune. Ah, the challenges of being flexible..I’m still learning to be more ok with changes as well. We’ll have to help each other! =)

    I have 3 goals.
    1. to be more mature
    2. be more patient and understanding, to see things from multiple perspectives rather than being sharp edged
    3. be more organized (which is why a planner would be a good idea!). nursing

    • I love your goals, and how you are working on being a more well-rounded person. It’s very difficult, and sometimes we are just not aware of our own failings and narrow-mindedness. Good for you! I know you’ll be able to reach your goals.

  4. My goal for this year is to grow my studio more! I have had the opportunity to bring on a couple sub contractors to teach piano to my wait list and to students who need lessons in their homes. I love spreading the love of music and would like to have each sub contractor have 5-10 students in the next year 🙂

My goal for 2016 is to stop and pause everyday to reflect on how I can glorify and give more recognition, whether it be through getting consistency in my devotionals, or praying out of faith and not feelings. Just found your blog today and I love it! (:

My goal for the upcoming year is to try not to worry so much about the future to the point of having mini panic attacks. I want to try to be happy and focus on things, experiences, and people that make me happy, rather than pessimistically focusing on things I cannot change. I just need to keep the mentality that the present is fleeting and the future problems that may arise will be dealt with only when the time comes. One way I deal with stress is organizing my life so that I get some sense of control, and this planner would really help with that!

    • It’s kind of ironic how we tend to spend so much time mulling over the past or worrying about the future. I find it very hard to actually live in the present. Best of luck to you on your own journey!

I have a goal of organizing, minimizing my life. I have a little one and having to figure out how to do life with a child takes a bit of skill.

My goal for the upcoming year is to improve on prioritizing the aspects of my life and dedicate more of my time on my academics, family, and close friends. I’ve learned through many accidents and situations throughout this year that life is short and I should spend it focusing on the positive aspects, rather than dwelling on the negatives.

    • It’s ironic how easy it is for us to become distracted by so many other things sometimes. That’s great that you realize this and are taking steps to counter it! Thank you for sharing your goal.

My goal for this upcoming year is to be faithful to what God has called me to instead of impatiently and anxiously trying to figure out what I’m going to do after I graduate Seminary.

Tiffany I JUST HEARD about these passion planners and I actually shared your blog with some friends on facebook because they have it too! 🙂

  11. Beautiful planner!!!! I would love to give that to my sister for christmas 🙂 One goal i have for the new year is to focus more on my dream of working with animals more- i just applied for an internship at an animal sanctuary yesterday so hopefully i get it! And a huge goal of mine is to continue getting out of my comfort zone … Moving out on my own has been something scary for me that i haven’t done yet and i really think i need to do soon to make myself better. Also i want to travel more, just get out of my comfort zone! This past year i focused on little things to get out of my comfort zone: making new friends, starting my blog and getting serious about it, going to therapy consistently, etc… So i am really proud of myself. But i want to take it up a notch!:)

    • They are! I can’t wait to use mine. Animals are such great companions. Good luck with the internship! I hope you get it. =) I so admire you for trying to step out of your comfort zone in those ways that you mentioned. That takes so much courage! And yes, little steps are much more manageable than trying to make huge changes all at once.
